We came here for lunch on a weekday and was pretty satisfied with the experience. Service was top notch and the restaurant was well decorated and comfortable. The Peking duck (whole) portions were great for a family of 5 and was authentic though sauces were a bit sweet for my own taste. The soup dumpling was good and the mushroom buns were more for looks than for taste. The crab stir fried tofu in a crab pot was delicious and the green peppercorns hot chili fish was extremely tender. Not much green peppercorn taste, but nicely flavored and spicy but not too spicy. The best dish was probably the deep fried eel strips--they were perfectly crispy and a nice numbing/tingling spice. Would highly recommend this one. An expensive meal but a great place to take family/friends from out of town looking for authentic Chinese food!

Jiang Nan in Long Island city is simply fantastic ! The cozy atmosphere, elegant decor create the perfect setting for any occasion. The menu offers a wide variety of options, food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations.. the service here is excellent. Our server was gracious and accommodating, ensuring every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. This restaurant exceeded all my expectations. You do not often find a place where every element comes together so perfectly. I'll be recommending it to all my friends and family !

Service was amazing and so was the food. The Peking duck was a disappointment though. They no longer have the fire duck. The new staff and chef aren't trained for it so I was told. But the crab rice was amazing. I highly recommend it if your cholesterol can handle it.

Decor was fresh and on Labor Day evening, a good number of families were eating. The food was not too salty or oily which was good compared to other Chinese restaurants. The menu is large, so you have to spend some time studying it if it's your first time. They gave all the tables lychee and passion fruit drinks, so that was a nice touch. The Peking duck was good. I just haven't had it in a thin wrap before... usually in bun form. They also had pineapples as a wrapping... which was also interesting touch! The meatballs had 3 which down the street had 4, but this one tasted better. The braised pork belly was my favorite as it was nicely braised and melted in your mouth. The sizzling pan came with just tofu to start and they poured the sauce at the table. The waitstaff was polite and attentive. All in all good experience.

Jiang Nan is a pricey Asian fusion restaurant, but not surprising given it is situated in Syosset. There are multiple locations across New York. The space is huge, great for large groups and beautifully designed. We arrived at around 3pm on a Sunday with a large group and the restaurant was pretty empty, with 2-3 occupied tables. We ordered the sautéed crab meat (which I highly recommend), flank steak with katsu sauce (meh), peking duck (yum), soup dumplings (yum), beef in chili sauce (yum) and kimchi cheese fried rice, which was falsely advertised to be extremely cheesy on the menu, but wasn't. Otherwise, food was delish and I'd return again!

The food is delicious. The servers are attentive. They also offer free order of soup dumplings when you order 30$ worth of food, but you do have to ask for it. The interior is decorated nicely ... The pekin duck (half order) fed 3 ppl nicely. The snapper in golden broth was delicious but I'm not a fan of bony fishes but the broth is delicious. The soup dumplings are done well and the ginger/vinegar that comes with it is delicious. The lettuce wraps were good texturally but I felt like it needed a sauce to accompany it. Felt the same way about the fried milk dessert...the dessert surprised me! It was actually very good but I also felt it needed a little something to accompany it. The stir fried cabbage with pork belly is my absolute favorite. Seasoned perfectly with a good crunchy bite.

Food was decent. Not sure why many dishes have to be flambé. I saw someone's duck go on fire. Our cumin lamb was also lit on fire. Food presentation was nice. Great place to gather with friends or when food isn't the high light of the meal. Decor and spacing of the tables are welcoming as well as private. It shows they spent time on interior design. Service was old school, pleasant and knowledgeable. Would definitely go back if gathering with friends and or family
